Art from childhood, for every child

Founded in 2019 and recognised as a public-interest foundation, Art Explora works to make art and culture accessible to everyone, especially the children and young people furthest from them. Mobile museums, artworks installed in hospitals, a free learning platform: it takes art where art does not usually go. By taking part in the Art for Every Child raffle, you directly support these programmes.

It Is Now — art in hospital

With the non-profit It Is Now, Art Explora commissions digital artists to create works that respond to movement, light and sound. Installed in paediatric wards and hospital lobbies, they give children in hospital and their families moments of play, creativity and escape, accessible whatever the disability. The first was installed in 2020 at Necker Children’s Hospital in Paris; the programme has since expanded to other hospitals in France and the United Kingdom.

MuMo — the museum that comes to children

Founded in 2011 by Ingrid Brochard, MuMo starts from a simple idea: if children don’t go to the museum, the museum comes to them. Its trucks set up in schoolyards, after-school centres and village squares with around fifteen original works — including pieces from the Centre Pompidou — and guided visits designed for young audiences. The MuMo x Centre Pompidou truck was built with Art Explora, and since 2025 the Mobile Museum has been part of the Foundation.
